This fall we were thrilled to welcome a number of new Owner-Residents into our Key community. An especially exciting addition to this suite launch was that we introduced a new building to our portfolio, Ivory on Adelaide East.

Ivory is located right in the heart of the St. Lawrence neighbourhood, and is now a place that Key Owner-Residents are calling home.

This bright and trendy east end neighbourhood is just minutes away from some of the best shops, venues and activities that Toronto has to offer.

Here are seven noteworthy things to do within 15 minutes of Ivory.

1. Visit the St. Lawrence Market

Located on Front street, the St. Lawrence Market is one of the most charming and authentic marketplaces you’ll find.

This spacious market features three main buildings, with its most popular being a farmers market that features over 120 specialty vendors. This collection of vendors makes it the perfect one stop shop for all your fresh produce, fish, meat, pastries and so much more. Not to mention other special events held there such as antique sales and cooking classes for those interested in exploring their culinary side!

This lively, vendor packed market makes it the perfect place to start your Saturday morning, and a great way to support local businesses.

2. Explore the Historic Distillery District

Situated in the heart of Old Toronto, the Distillery District is one of Toronto’s most historic and unique neighbourhoods. This pedestrian-only area is surrounded by beautifully built 19th century style buildings which are home to a wide selection of restaurants, breweries, art galleries and unique shopping venues.

Be sure to not miss the Distillery Winter Village, a charming, picturesque holiday walkthrough event filled with bright lights, local vendors, warm drinks and a breathtaking Christmas tree. You’ll feel like you’re right inside a holiday postcard!

Ready to try something new? Head over to the Museum of Illusions! This highly unusual and immersive museum will definitely lead you to questioning your own senses. Just a short walk away from the St Lawrence market, it may end up being the most entertaining afternoon you’ve had in a while, not to mention a great place for pictures.
