Alison Simpson


With the dream of home ownership becoming increasingly unattainable for hard working citizens, the opportunity to be part of fixing this important issue was irresistible. I have eight nieces and nephews across Canada and Australia who feel like they’ll be stuck on the rental treadmill forever, which highlights how global the need is. Key’s visionary model makes home ownership attainable for millennials. I’m thrilled to be part of bringing the vision to life.

An award-winning marketer - with expertise across broad marketing disciplines, P&L ownership, and Board experience - Alison is uniquely equipped to quickly assess business potential, marketplace, and consumer needs to drive strong results.

This is how she’s delivered double digit growth for brands as diverse as Tim Hortons, Holt Renfrew, Apple, The Home Depot, Rogers, TMX Group and Ford, to name a few.

In addition to holding executive roles and leading brand, digital, loyalty, integrated marketing and customer experience teams for top tier brands, Alison has also been the president of several marketing agencies, a brand consultancy and founded a fractional CMO firm specializing in start-ups and entrepreneurial companies. Her diverse experience positions her very well to see potential where others only see obstacles and deliver on today’s quickly evolving market realities, which is why the decision to join Key was an easy one.

Alison is active in her industry and community. Her recent board roles include: MEC (Canada’s sporting goods retail co-op, with 5.5M members), CNIB (Ontario and Quebec Regions) and the Smith School of Business Masters of Management Analytics Program at Queen’s University.
